Chewy Fudge Brownies (gluten free of course!)

Looking for a good gf brownie recipe?  chewyfudgebrowniesLook no further…these are wonderful!  A little crumbly but still delicious.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line 8X8 inch glass pan with parchment paper. (Tip: wet the parchment paper so that is lies easier in the pan, and have extra hang over the edge so that you can lift out the brownies easier).  If any of the pan is not covered by the parchment paper, grease lightly with butter.

  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of organic butter
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 organic eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups of almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt (unless it’s already in your butter)

Melt the honey, butter and chocolate chips in medium sauce pan over low heat until melted.  Once melted add the cocoa powder and stir.

Let cool slightly.  Add of vanilla extract, and eggs.  Add almond flour, baking powder and salt (if using).

Pour batter into pan and sprinkle with more chocolate chips if desired.  Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.  Inserted toothpick should come out fairly clean.  Allow to cool and then pull out of pan by parchment paper handles and cut.  Enjoy!

I just pinned this recipe – they look AMAZING and I think I’ll be able to easily vegan-ize them! The gluten free part in brownies is what has been more of a challenge for me but it looks like you’ve got it down – can’t wait to try these!!
